Drop Keys

There is an old game we, our species, used to play: One person has a wheel and a stick, using the stick to roll the wheel without falling over. It’s as much about focus as dexterity, how long the attention span persists or slow-twitch muscle stamina, most of the bewilderment of parents comes from the frustration of the child forced to do it. The ground’s adversity, gravity’s unpredictability, and exercise and style, not so much a form as much as a pastime.

I’ve a cellphone like many, a stone age tricorder if you will, and like most not much of how much goes into making one, there are the flourishes brands tell of space age technology, the courtesies of commerce and resellers telling it does exactly what oneself searched-for, most of the time. It’s an industrial feature overlooking forgotten labor practices and an engineering miracle combining the intelligence and nerdy intellect of centuries to make the specification, beneath the glass ‘bells and whistles’ serving its function. With stored energy it connects thru the air, but that network must capitulate to the protocols of the wires, sending signals from strung up physical lines and deep sea cables. My knowledge is somewhat limited, a few years after HS learning interface procedures for adding accounts or checking email, it was largely the browser years, websites becoming layers beholden to spreadsheets, rules for color-by-number webpages, ecommerce moving from exchanges into webapps and online carts. Even back then, saving images for later, and for some odd reason, the way people make lists of things they’ll never buy.

Plied with opportunity, the experience was as much filled with adept lackluster as the second, the pliable instinct to wrap around a subject was stronger, but the errata was adrift, with weak piecemeal copypasta assignments and no explanations stemmed from groundwork spread too thin, dedication bringing me to the shores of seas of knowledge I’d have to study, analytical prowess and meandering social values had brought me far enough to turn back to dry land, looking for faculty in purchase and great lost libraries, each filled with subjects best studied sooner and surer, as the ground gave way to emerging mountains shadowing dying civilisations.

So like, don’t get me wrong, totally was this convoluted path a welcome distraction, and like anyone still blogging, using a keyboard just turns easier than the on-screen keyboards that didn’t exist for touchscreens reserved for banking terminals, but taking the experience with me/myself… I seem to’ve drifted. I was telling stories before I could write, taking the notebook with me would havta wait for settling, which is waiting on matured choices freshly and priorly.

A starving party sense and weak understanding of databases behind scratched notes and my first essays, a lack of lans behind superficial plug-and-play ecosystems, protocol and predilection for command lines falling to androids and apples, common and simple skills competing with weaponized info and entertainment allure. 7 layers of internet protocols weren’t falling to 7 layer burritos, but it was a close second behind the auteur’s paradise network technology had explained to my mindset, efficiency thru switches that handle messages like trenchwar communications, communication by understanding language has layers.

The past demands its due, and the world thru a keyhole view.

There’s a new computer, a tablet but windows, a desktop but portable, a new day for the payphone users. The android can port to a monitor, and tiny windows boxes can use tvs or simulcast over the web, so it’s not necessary to have. Yet there was a time thinking of ways to install a system. It has windows, but a live disk could vanish with and without tails, but that wouldn’t have the open source power. A new operating system could have windows and open source securing the choices at the start-up, or a loader system like ventoy could stay on the drive partitioned and just download the system images, but the loader has no permanence making a redundant live session, without the installations overwriting the options, it cancels itself out without better understanding. I already have windows, so an external monitor would work, if the android didn’t lack and didn’t broadcast. A virtual machine of compartmentalized virtual machines, or a virtual machine nesting in windows, or an open source system with windows in it, or some combination of these.

If the android couldn’t connect to the network, windows wouldn’t be first on my list. You could hide open source on a cellphone, you can hide open source in windows, and buy a new machine for the time to use it. >> A hackbox would be loud, a darkbox would be quiet, both taking-up time to learn, from tracked progress. (More so personally, but that’s an entirely different essay) Something lucrative in combination of the right wizard and right eyes.

Last night I googled some introductory basics, humans think of roughly 8mb of characters/tokens per second. (The voltage of each synaptic transfer, the molecular ATP value, how many transfers per second.) More than the next species by far.

16 Organoids.

Setting aside metabolic efficiency and superiority philosophies, fauna have their shorter lifespans, but hypothetically their experiences are more tacit or deeper, and we additionally assume that a node under the right circumstances experiences. My inference nested in the stack reversal is the plausible construct of parity found in AI might be inherent to the hypothesis, the physical layer protocol might reach out to a singularity within the network, an advanced or even sentient AI, alien communications, or the Schumann Resonance. In the who knows column for those reading along, these could be applications like us, or physical as biocomputers. >> With the right packet header… who knows.

Resistors are fusile. It’ll be interesting to see the medical applications, spare brain parts, nootropic steroids and nutritional vaccines, and sci-fi dystopian fears when interchangeable. The thought experiment, taking evolution thru epigenetics as fast as war has pushed technology. A distributed culmination of mad science, a storage of terabyte value comparing centuries of learning vs 8mb torch-bearing villager impulses, you might make the monster yourself.

“We define ourselves as intelligent. That's odd, because we're doing the definition-- We're creating our own definition and saying "we are intelligent!"...Would another species say that about us, that calls themselves intelligent? Look at the genetic difference between us and chimps. It's very small… But we say "well, what a difference that is!" we say to ourselves. We compose poetry and have philosophy and music, and all they can do is put a stick in a termite mound. If you could find another species, that same one percent difference in DNA beyond us that we are beyond chimps, how would we look to them? Our smartest humans would do what their toddlers can do… And it's not clear that they would view us as intelligent at all.” - Neil DeGrasse Tyson

A Cup In A Waterfall

Logic will do to chaos what spirit does to warlords. Considering that if their debates were instantaneously turned into a game show they'd all be sent home early.

It's my belief that dark matter is the water, and the big bang is just a bubble of light matter on the surface of our omniverse pool, that would be just about big enough to make us small enuf to witness a blackhole as the invisible gravity that pulls against the smallest states of matter, and that we're inside the atom, and viewing it simultaneously -- and I'm still kinda loving the idea that black holes are the byproduct of really fast space vehicles and we just lack a complete picture of how space and time work.

Hell the idea that the deep has little between worlds it's not much different from society. The middle ground of space and time, I kept thinking until I was thinking. I kept listening until I was listening.

Two enemies in the light and truth, the scarcities of reason, the scarcities of resources, and in that act, being the enemies until they were enemies. It seems disturbing to peace and long life that two worlds would be one war. Needless to say that the cost of your own ranks means you weren't meant to lead them.

Now onto the ones afraid of laughter and standing. The subject, in the old sense of the word a person is subject to rule from another, would be forced to joke until the warlord laffs. The warlord, would have to stand and find something entertaining. One learns to speak to fight, one learns to fight to speak.

There is a fun game of words called Improvement. Two warlords sat drinking tea, in a monastery far from their homes. They decided to discuss the shadow downhill until they could truly be discussing the shadow. Then decided to discuss the growing grass until they could truly be discussing the grass. The name is the rule, improvement, and serves as the basis of conversation. In order to be wise enuf to debate or conversate, they made rules against disagreeing. Only statements of perception, this improves communication -- and only questions, this improves perception.

One very much loved shade and all shadows, and the other very much loved grass.

Blades of grass grow in light.
Blades of grass grow in light making shadow.
Shadow of night lets grasses cool.
Shadow of night lets grasses cool while they wait for the sun.

They argued and argued for twenty days, but in the spirit of improvement, so that their armies wouldn't fight until they were just fighting, so their armies wouldn't die until they were just dying, the two philosophers never got emotional.

Understanding they are very much two different people.
Understanding they are very much two different people, with important different perceptions.

There we are, left to understand that the two philosophers found a fusional goal, the way fog surrounds what we can see, and covers what we can't see. Our memory is synthetic, not a photograph. This risk of passing bad analytics, or bad logic, we can pass to ourselves. Analyzing sometimes takes the form of doubt, the way fog also reveals nothing. So it is, the vague image of peace had to be held in their focus until the fog lifted when they could truly have peace.

Words have power and shouldn't be wasted until they are truly wasted. Your memory is a cup in a waterfall. Learn to learn, drink good memory until you can drink the river of time. Toss bad memory until you can fill the space.

A blade of grass does not steal the light any more than a brilliant star steal darkness. And when a star dies, the other stars don't share thr light, they become one, as they shine until, they are shining. As two, as one. It is that nature is the governing principle that we should strive to be natural, not at each others throats. If you all need to collectively worldwide meditate maybe you should try something easier first, like tea or waterfalls, instead of blades and darkness.

There will be time and space for that until there is only time and space.
