Another confusion is that the money on the trees is free, or that the corporations sell things they didn’t pay for. Someone off the grid will be a paid voice or elected politician vying to be surviving on empty promises, usually to fight the owners or employers for longer lunch breaks that turn into guillotines fast. Real fucking fast.
In the space where leaders have died, a revolution is born. The students are mobile, the saboteurs are networked, and the stazi hide in plain sight. They see inflation as more money to buy from empty shelves. Some cities learned the hard way, some are more stubborn and we can’t live there.
